Cappuccino Nescafé Azera and Raspberries Scones

I always enjoy a cup of coffee, but sometimes it's nice to try to make some original recipes with the ingredients you have at home!
Today I've tried a new recipe with the Cappuccino Nescafé Azera (thanks to Bzzagent!) and some raspberries to make my scones.

Ingredients:
200g SR Flour +  extra dusting
1 tsp Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
50g Butter
1 Box of Raspberries
50g Castor Sugar
1 sacket of Nescafé Cappuccino Azera

Heat the oven to 200/Gas 6.
Mix together the flour and salt and rub in the butter.
Mix in the sugar and the raspberries.
Make your capuccino with milk.
Make a hole in the centre, and gradually stir in the Cappuccino to get a soft dough.
Turn on to a floured work surface and knead very lightly, being careful not to overwork as this will produce heavy scones.
Using a 3-4cm cutter cut out rounds.
Brush the tops of the scones with an egg yolk, making sure no egg wash runs down the sides.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until well risen and golden.

This time I enjoy my scones with a little bit of cream! It was really nice the contrast with the strong coffee, the acid flavour of the raspberries and the smoothness of the cream!
I hope you enjoy the recipe! :)
